The 5th Shanghai Forum for Fertility Preservation was held on October 22–24, 2021, in Shanghai, China, together with the founding conference of the Asia-Pacific Association for Fertility Preservation (APAFP).
The meeting included a hands-on workshop on the cryopreservation of gametes and embryos as well as ovarian tissue.
Following the founding conference, the association was registered in Macau, China, first gazetted on November 10, 2021.
