Ri-Cheng Chian

Professor Ri-Cheng Chian is Director of the Center for Reproductive Medicine at Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital of Tongji University, China.
Before taking up his current position, Dr. Chian was a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, McGill University, Montreal, Canada.
Dr. Chian played a key role in developing the in vitro maturation (IVM) of human oocytes for clinical application and the cryopreservation of human oocytes. This work resulted in pregnancies and live births at the McGill University Health Centre in Canada.

- Simplifying infertility treatment using assisted reproductive technologies (ART);
- Fertility preservation.
